Dyno Comp

Once again, the Street Machine Nationals will be staging a Dyno Competition run by the team at DAT Performance. As per last years event, there will be no additional charge to have a run on the Dyno, you just need to speak with the guys on the day and organise a time for your run.

The Dyno area will be located in the Pits just down from the Mothers Show Car Masters pavilion and will be operating all weekend.

There will be several awards on offer including Highest Horsepower 1st, 2nd and 3rd; Highest Horsepower V8, Highest Horsepower 6, Highest Horsepower 4 / Rotary.

Burnouts

The Burnouts will be a hard fought competition with many of the big names in Burnout Competitions already showing interest. The Burnout Pad is overlooked by hundreds of tiered seats - each one with a fantastic view of the entire burnout pad.

The Burnout Competition is to be held on Sunday afternoon between 2.00pm and 3.30pm with the winners announced and awarded on the pad at 3.45pm.

The trophy list includes Best Overall Burnout 1st, 2nd, 3rd; Best V8, Best 6, Best 4 / Rotary and Best Female.

Street Car Show 'N' Shine

This is the area where those who want to show off their pride and joy will spend most of their time. This is where colour meets chrome meets horsepower.

Situated outside the Mothers Show Car Master pavilion, the Street Car Show ‘n’ Shine will offer hours of admiring some of the finest street and show cars in Australia. From high-tech to old school and everything in between, there will be something for everyone on display.

APSA Pro-Street Shoot Out

They’re the Fastest and Quickest Street Cars on the Planet and they are coming to the Street Machine Nationals to pit on an unbelievable show for the spectators! Running low ET’s in Street-styled cars with huge engines always guarantees some edge of your seat racing. This is one section of the Street Machine Nationals that sets us apart from the rest.

There’s impressive prize money on offer in all classes guaranteeing this will be the biggest and baddest Pro-Street Shoot-Out yet!

The qualifying kicks off on Saturday morning with the finals to be held after lunch and into the early evening. Make sure you get there early to see all the action.

Mothers Show Car Masters

Put simply, we’ve gathered 20 of the best Show Cars we could find and put them indoors to not only put on an impressive display, but to find out just who is the Show Car Master! We’ve got five judges who will have their work cut out for them scrutinising every part of each car in an all out effort to find the absolute best show car in Australia.

Pro-Bag Autocross Challenge

After the success of the inaugural Autocross session at the 2010 Street Machine Nationals, we decided that in 2011 the circuit will be open for competitors on both days - giving entrants more of a chance to test their skills behind the wheel of their car.

The move to Sydney Dragway will allow us to expand the Pro-Bag Autocross circuit and add in some more flowing corners around a much smoother surface. Saturday will be a practice day with the serious competition getting tougher on Sunday where the winners will be announced at the circuit.

The Pro-Bag Autocross Challenge has the following trophies up for grabs;

Quickest Time 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Top Female Time 1st and 2nd.

ALFA Motorsport Fibreglass Pro-Street Performance Show-off

Usually, when the racing is over, the drivers pack their ‘chutes, load up their cars and head home. But at the Shannons Street Machine Nationals, the Pro-Street racers will be having their own show ‘n‘ shine on Sunday from 9am so the general public can get up close and personal with those mega-powered street and strip cars.

The best part is that we’re offering up a trophy list designed just for these drivers and their cars. The trophy list is;
